Biachem is a management-owned independent chemical distributor with over 40 years of experience, operates across the UK, Ireland and France. With annual sales around £25 million, we serve a broad range of industries through our 4 companies: one focusing on commodity chemicals, another on specialty surfactants and inorganic chemicals, and dedicated operations in both Ireland and mainland Europe.
For over 40 years, Biachem has been a major importer of both Soda Ash Light and Soda Ash Dense into the UK. We hold substantial stock to ensure prompt supply to a variety of commercial users. Our European-manufactured soda ash, produced synthetically, provides consistent high quality and is an ideal substitute for the previously available Lostock synthetic product.

This internationally recognised standard reflects our commitment to consistent quality management, reliable service and high standards throughout our chemical distribution operations.
We are also FEMAS accredited, demonstrating our compliance with recognised industry standards for the supply and distribution of feed materials. In addition, Biachem is a member of the Chemical Business Association’s Responsible Care programme, reinforcing our commitment to responsible, safe and sustainable chemical distribution.
